Hey guys,
I have a 93 turbo with LSD. I found out not too long ago that my drivers side inner CV boot (side attached to tranny) has torn and spewed grease on the tranny. On acceleration I can feel a slight vibration from the rubber on the boot flapping about.
I am wondering whether I should order a remanufactured axle from autopart store, or just get a replacement CV boot kit. Has anyone experienced this, what are the pros and cons of a rebuilt axle versus new axle versus CV boot kit.
I'm not sure if the axle is totally useless now due to dust and sand, what are the symptoms of a totaly shot axle/CV.
Thanks!
