Just tried to put a clutch in my 85 NA....it's too small! Went to the parts store, guy was nice enough to get one in for me pretty quick from another store, and guess what...same thing...too small.

Apparently, there were two clutch sizes used in 85. Any one know the correct clutch I should get?

If the one you got from the parts store is too small, get one for an '86. The early '85's (through about 3/4 of the production run) had a 200mm clutch. Late in the model year, they changed to 212mm, and it stayed that way through '89. It's also possible you have the engine out of a later model car - and it will still be 212mm.

Thanks. I guess bigger means better? At least I know what to look for now. Wish I would have known that before.
