I have a 91" NA and am doing a turbo swap Can I use a 93"+ turbo speedometer??

I like the 93+ JDM speedometer but I dont know if it is compatable

No, you can't. The 91 is mechanical, the 93 is electronic.

well if your putting a 93+ turbo engine in then, yes, you can use a 93 speedo w/ a 93 tranny.

He can not, he has a 91 car, that has a cluster that uses a cable.
If it is a 93 tranny just use your 91 speedo assembly, it'll slide right in the 93 tranny and work fine.

You would also need to swap in the 93 body harness.

I am glad that I can use my orignal speedometer.. and thanks for awnsering that question and I also want to know if I can use a 93 speedometer on my 91 mr2 because at a local junkyard there is a nice looking 93 speedometer for $50 and I like the higher Mph display and the higher Rpm redline plus as usless as it might be the lntergraded turbo gauge.

The engine that will be installed is a 93 JDM 3sgte with a LSD transmission

well, you'll have to buy and install a set of 2 "electronic type" wires from a 93 turbo that run under the car and to the sensor.

Thanks MR-Two I will most likley do that Because I want my mr2 to be as compleate as possible so I realy wanted that 93 JDM speedometer
