For most people it does not matter at all but for the CA emissions regulations everything needs to align so that one will need to be from a 2011 siennaDoes the VIN have to be a sienna? My 2gr is from an Avalon...
This one is weird. It was sold and titled in Indiana, then registered in California about 10 miles later.Ok, I'll extract that list later tonight but i found this one as a maybe: 5TDYK3DC6BS100123 from here: Damaged Toyota Sienna Truck For Sale And Auction | 5Tdyk3Dc6Bs100123
I really don't need to actually have that specific ECU to put that VIN on there, I can program the VIN to be whatever you want on any ECU. But if you want that specific one programmed I'm happy to do that for you also. I'd love to see a legitimately CARB legal 2gr-fe swap out there.@Gouky If all goes well I will be purchasing this ECU (waiting on offer to be accepted) and sending it your way when it arrives.
If it was about 2000 miles later i could see someone buying it to move to CA then registering it but only 10 miles makes no sense to me.This one is weird. It was sold and titled in Indiana, then registered in California about 10 miles later.
