Hey guys-
Gearing up to do the brake overhaul that I've been asking questions about.
How much fluid should I have on hand for proper bleeding? I thought I read it somewhere on here before but a search comes up with nada and the BGB is no help either. Thanks
Brett

I always buy a qt of dot 3, sometimes 2 qts if it's on sale. Never had a problem with fluid temp, but I don' race texas or cali. either. I just fill the reservoir, leave the lid cracked, pop all 4 bleeders and let gravity bleed the sysyem until it comes out clean as a whistle. Don't forget to keep adding fluid. That, and grab a beer or two, could be a while (1hr at most). Close all bleeders, pressure bleed RR till no air, and repeat thru LR, RF, LF. Don't leave the used jar of brake fluid around, throw it away and keep the spare (if you bought it) in the trunk or hood. Sometimes spare fluid will get you home if something goes bad!
