Plans I found on the Internets for making the brackets to use 4x bathroom scales.
I picked up 4x scales at a dollar store for $5 each.
They are analog.

I still have to do this... I need a few more bits for the brackets. I have the angle and 1" square tube...

People, kinda dumb people... say this is not accurate and really stupid and will cause your car to run like a hondah or mustang. The idea is to get the same repeatable numbers. Just like a dyno, you have to use the same equipment every time you make a change to see what the change has done.

and that is my goal.

That is an old trick. I am suprised that you have not already done this. You seem to have tried most of the home remedy solutions.
I have raced (auto-x) against people who used this and a home string alignment and if you get proficient with it, it can be very effective.

This is a Carrol Smith approved method of corner-balancing. I've seen a bracket or bit of angle that's sized to the tire to make tire location repeatable and the whole frame made as a triangle so only one point of force is applied to the scale.
