At the 9:16 mark of this video, it shows flow visualizations of the flow structure and aerodynamics of the first generation Toyota MR2, second generation Mazda RX7, fourth generation Toyota Supra, and brand new Scion FRS (Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ). Together these cars give an interesting look into vehicle aerodynamics.

First gen MR2's were not all that aero efficient. To be frank, they are shaped like bricks.... :(
In their defense, they are 33+ years old, and were never intended to be super car exotica.

If you want one that's more slippery, Mk2 or Mk3 is your only alternative.

Very interesting, as in absence of new MR2 I went with the BRZ and seems to be awesome on continuing to improve drag. Quite cool to see the flows! TY for posting!
