i did once at the car show, just before his accident on the bike.

he had a shaved head, carrying a bike helmet, talking to someone.

his appearance kinda threw me for a second.

and, he posted to my thread about selling my car which has only been a week.

guess thats all we get till he decides to come back into the loop. but i remember someone requesting his attention to build a twin turbo v6 mr2..(mk2 i imagine)...and recieved a nice down payment. and knowing austin, his attention to detail, surpases his need to be in the loop.

either way, im sure he is doing well. he is known to be unreachable for periods of a time. he's a busy guy, lots to do

I spoke with him a few days ago. He's out of the MR2 game for awhile not counting that V6 customer car he has. He's doing well at his day job, and is continuing to ride motorcycles and drive his turbo car for the speed thrill.

hey greg, has he done anything with the all-trac or the wbk? last i knew he was close on the all-trac. and miles away with the wbk. but then again, that was forever ago

i stopped going mostly due to the fact that i almost never saw any other 2's.

so i went periodically. like once a month.

and now my 2 is down collecting dust, im gonna roll up in the girlfriends 95 escort. just cant do it,. not in an escort.

Nah we didn't talk about anything MR2 related... so I have no clue what's going on with his Toyota projects. He has an R32 Skyline to drive around now for fun and whatnot

Austin is in Cocoa, FL working in a sleep study lab. I bought the TRD2000GT from him last year. Currently he finally is doing something with that Celica Altrac. He brought out here early this year and is putting an RC engine in it and plans to make it his daily driver. I think his email is still the same [email protected] and he is listed so if you guys are old friend email him, I am sure he would love to hear from you guys.
