anyone have experience with "motor city" or "PTB" brand wheel bearings?

This is what I could find in stock in town right now. I need this stuff quick as the 2 is my daily driver. Motor City brand comes from advance auto parts, and PTB is from a local vendor called Van's.

I'm going to get the beck/arnley seal kit.

if anyone knows if this stuff is halfway decent, let me know.

I know the OEM Toyota stuff is good. I've never heard of either of those bearing manufacturers. Beyond that, I can't help. I only use Toyota bearings, head gaskets, and a few other odds and ends. Those are what I consider "mission critical" parts. Most aftermarket seals are OK, and Beck Arnley is "average" in the aftermarket quality index.

If the bearings are produced in the US or Canada they should be ok. Stay away from Chinese made bearings. They are crap.

these brands were both chinese, I ended up getting some factory bearings from Conicelli for cheaper than local dealers WITH expedited shipping.

rolling with no grinding now!
