Hey guys, income taxes were good to me this year so I've got the cash to buy a clip, and it seems Jarco gets the highest marks in both customer satisfaction, support, and being legit and selling quality product. They arren't the cheapest, but i'd be willing to pay extra for good service. Can anyone tell me about their transaction with Jarco, the quality of their clips, etc? I'm going to be spending close to $3000 cash to both buy and ship a clip, and want to cover my bases.

Thanks guys :)

People have said that Jarco is one of your best choices when choosing a clip.

I also want to recommend to you Motors Unlimited. I am currently in a transaction with Ron (Toyota specialist there). Extremely helpful and will be with you every step of the way. Also expect to pay relatively the same prices as Jarco. The customer service from MU is quite impressive.

mr2swift is Ron's board name.

Well I really do not see a delima at all in getting anyone a clip by June. That is 2nd or 3rd gen. Our prices are what Jarco charges without shipping. Therfore in most scenarios we sell our clips shipped for what Jarco charges before shipping. There are several pics of 3rd and 2nd gen clips that have been posted on this forum from Motors Unlimited to get an idea of what you get when purchasing through us. In addition, I think we stock more Toyota engines then anyone else to date. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss the details. Also, thanks guys for the possitive feedback.

Jarco is a Good place they just take off whatever Mod that is on the car and sell it to you for extra. They like to knickle and Time ya now adays, for Tail lights, BOV, exhaust, They have stock replacement parts laying around so they'll stick those on them All though i do know
Someone got a 98 GenIII clip from them with only Under 30kmiles with Gauges. Recently. of coarse they paid more than 3k for the clip.

Also www.workspower.net has some cheaper prices on good GenII and GennIII clips as well. just another option.

i have never bought from them before, but i have spoken with them and visited them. they are great guys, they actually go to japan themselves and test each car and then cut it themselves, so they know exactly what you are getting. i would highly recommend them.

I have bought 1 clip, 2 engines, 2 trannies, 4 j-spec doors, 2 hoods and a trunk lid with spoiler. I know them personally. Motors Unlimited has also had very good feedback. MR2 Warehouse has also some very good feedback

I highly reccommend Jarco.

i have gotten 3 clips from Jarco amongst other motors and a ton of aftermarket parts :3sgte, sr20det, 1jzgte clips. I live very close to them and they really are great guys. They help me out so much with whatever random part i need for my cars. I promise you will be happy with them. Ive seen how they obtain the clips and what they do to them and you can rest assured the motor runs because they drive all the perfectly good working cars before they cut them up and ship them over. Also, you get every part you need for a swap plus the gauge cluster to prove mileage, a fuel pump, and rear end where applicable. As far as the slightly higher cost, i think its totally worth it for the peice of mind knowing that you will get a good product on time. :endplug :D
