I was just reading the 2005 NHRA Sport RWD rules and this has been added:

DRIVELINE
Driveshaft loop required on all cars running 11.49 seconds or quicker. See General Regulations 2:4.

What about cars that do not have a driveshaft? :lol:

you'd disregard, just like you disregard all the rules about flexplates for autos when you have a stick car, etc
