I have not had a single GoPro fly off even at 184mph on my motorcycle with their supplied double sided tape.

I didn't know they mounted with double tape. Any idea on the brand/model used? I assume it some type of 3M tape

Not sure, but gorilla tape is probably strong. Or that stuff that you can hang on sheetrock wall that claims to hold up to 100 lbs or force or more.

Looks like the clear gorilla tape is good for 38lbs of force. I have seen more though.
