I have an 88sc mr2 and its my daily driver 3 seasons outa the year
It has the stock 8psi pulley and im wondering if switching to the 13psi pulley would be ok for a daily driver and if so should it be 175mm or 180mm
The car is in good shape though so if it wouldnt be a big improvement then i might just leave it alone

There is lots of information on this topic already posted in the SC subsection of the forum.

The big issue you will run into is the low end leanout.
The ecu will not reconize the extra airflow at low RPM (below 4000) and will not supply enough fuel and you will run lean in the low end.

There are fueling solutions to solve the problem, the easiest being a Gruntbox.
