This is a joke, right? The 3ur is a truck/suv engine and the trans is only a FR configuration. You could only have a FR2 with it.

I think if the engine could be fitted, it would be a beast. Imagine it with the TRD blower in a MK2! I wonder how far the 5.7 can be punched out. Bore/stroke it, some ITBs, cams, compression, etc, in a MK4 Supra. I wonder if you can 7 liters out of one.

What's the dimensions of the 3UR block:
- from the widest point of the cam covers across
- from the crank pulley to the back of the block
- from the bottom of the sump to the highest point?

What is the angle of the V?

Have you thought about the cooling requirements for this engine, will the stock Mk2 rad be enough to cope with this?

Driveshaft alignment with the new transmission?

90 degree V. I would think the cooling system would need to be upgraded. Lot of heat generated by an engine that big. I wonder how heavy it is.

i have my doubts. the 3UZ is a super big motor. you should look at what Paul Woods is doing on the other message board. he put an Audi V8 in a MK1. but he had to hack the car up a lot to hold that big engine.

this is impossible with the stock 3UR transmission. and even if it was, why would you want such a heavy transmission? and an automatic at that.

I'm pretty sure a 3UR swap could be done if you apply massive amounts of custom fabrication and custom body work. but you're just an internet troll.

The 3UR-FE is a 5.7-liter (5663 cc) engine designed for use in Toyota trucks, and as a result, the D-4S gasoline direct injection will not be included, but Dual VVT-i is included. Bore of 94 mm and stroke of 102 mm, it produces 381 hp (283 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 401 ft?lbf (543 N?m) of torque at 3,600 rpm... This engine is cast at Toyota's Bodine Aluminum and currently assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama. The engine's service weight is 222 kg.

The cylinder block has a bank angle of 90?, a bank offset of 21 mm (0.827 in.) and a bore pitch of 105.5
mm (4.15 in.), resulting in a compact block in its length and width considering its displacement.
The compact block is achieved by producing the thin cast-iron liners and cylinder block as a unit.
The VVT-i system is designed to control the intake and exhaust camshafts within a range of 60? and 30?
respectively (of Crankshaft Angle) to provide valve timing that is optimally suited to the engine operating
conditions. This improves torque in all the speed ranges as well as increasing fuel economy...will be a daily driver...
I will have to hack the car just a little bit similar to the "MR8"... Cutting into trunk area, etc...

Using stock radiator and other stock cooling configurations...just stay tuned

Dude, I'm not a hater and I'm not saying it's impossible, but how are you gonna start such a bold thread and not have any pics to show? Post pics or I'm waving the flag :bsflag:......teasing is for 17 year old girls not grown men :thumbdown
