I need some help fellas, I'm new to the third gen, if I need to replace my pistons what am I buying for a 3rd gen 3sgte? Are they specific? I can't find anything on the internet. Are the hg and head bolts all the same as the second gen metal ones and ARP head bolts?

All 3sgte aftermarket pistons are the same but you need to know what size to get before you buy them. OEM pistons are sized differently as well for a more precise fit.

The ARP headstuds are all the same.

3rd gen headgaskets are a different layout from 2nd gen. Factory for 3rd is MLS and for 2nd is graphite.

Got it, thanks I was reading you can use a Camry 2.2 metal head gasket I think from 98 to 01 from Fel-Pro for fourth and fifth gens. Would that work on a 3rd gen?
