would it be possible to have a 20v on a gze block with a turbo?
not with a stock ECU of course, maybe some custom cams, depends...

im brainstorming ideas for my next engine. opinions welcome.

the 20v block is actually stronger.
the rods on the 20v are good enough for boost.
look around in the 20v section... lots of info on turbocharging 20v's. this is nothing new.

my turbo 20v...

so far runs like a champ, spools the the t25 very quick, and pulls hard to redline (currently 8k). Paradise racing also sells arias 9:1 pistons for boost applications, and the rods from what I've seen are same as gze pretty much.

nope. lighter rods. silvertop 20v = king of high hp yet boostable 4ag's. Blacktop just tend to come apart faster, and cost more to replace.

It seems to me most logical to turbo it while doing the swap because you have the engine out of the car and you can take it apart to rebuild it and install the necessary internal components (pistons, conn. rods, head gasket, etc.) If you wanted to turbo it after the swap you'd have to pay to pull the engine out all over again. This is why I plan to do my 20v GTE all at once.
