would there be a disadvantage to have a 2step and the primary cat in place. I would think that nothing would happen. Just want to hear what your guys would think...
IMO any turbo small enough to use with the stock cat should not need a 2step to get an efective launch. But IMO it will have the same effect as retarding timing on cold starts that lights off the cat... so may you might just have less emissions .
You might cook your cat. Don't sit there in 2 step mode for long. A plugged/cooked cat is evil and develops over time, slowly and literally putting a cork on your engine's performance.
You will have WAY more VOC emissions. I wouldn't imagine that's of much concern on the line at a drag strip.
