I would love to keep this here @ South Mountain Reservation but $110 is steep for one person. Would anyone care to help out with the fee? Currently looking into other sites also. Theres Hedden Park in morris county, bbq its pretty chill spot.

I don't know about going yet seeing how far into the future this is.

Watchung Reservation is good place for BBQ and it is free. I have had many a July 4th bbq there. Have to get there early though to make sure to get the spots with the tables.

I might be interested. It's about 2 hrs from me. What's all going to happen that day ?

We don't need a permit as long as no one else has it reserved or shows up first.

Jimmy Chan paid for the permit and asked everyone to chip in to defray the cost. He spent about $100 on the permit and got about $17.

Watchung Reservation sounds like a viable place to go, nice roads, bbq/pinic area. Me, Mark and a few others used to run thru there back in the day.
