I have for sale a 1993 MR2 which has a rebuilt 1999 1mzfe V6 engine swap. There's approximately 158xxx miles on the rust-free body, and perhaps 6500 miles on the rebuilt engine. I've had this car for a couple years--it runs fantastic and handles superbly. I believe the only issues are the power antenna doesn't work, and there's a slight leak at the T-tops during heavy rains (I have new OEM MR2 rubber seals for both sides...worth several hundred dollars alone. Just haven't installed them...they go with the car). This is the 5th MR2 I've owned. Some of the mods include: Short shifter, Flywheel, Stage2 clutch, Fuel pressure regulator, Apexi safc, and Greddy SP exhaust. I'm asking $4500 or best reasonable offer (low-ballers will be summarily ignored). Please note, I am located in the U.P. of Michigan. That means, I am far closer to Minneapolis MN or Green Bay WI than I am to Detroit. Thanks for looking...feel free to contact me by e-mail or PM. $4500 obo...serious inquiries only, please!! ***EDIT 6/25/14***NEW PRICE: $4200******EDIT 6/25/14***NEW PRICE: $4200***

A few more images...please note...this is all the pictures I have of the car, and I don't want to take any more. The car has always been stored indoors....

Beautiful deal. I wish you were closer because I'd be on your doorstep. :) Best of luck with sale!
Typically a really clean N/A car in your condition would go for close to that amount.
A lot of tire kickers...any serious offers?
Who and where did you buy this car from? I ask because my brother sold a teal 93 ttop to a guy planning to do a v6 swap a few years ago. It would be cool to know if this was it.
Any updates on this, was marked sold for a bit, but not by the OP. Is this still available?
Agreed. I sent a PM and never heard back. You have a serious buyer in me if you would just send a message.
You guys might want to try sending him an email as well. His page is showing he hasn't logged on since November
I'm almost certain this is the car that was being sold on here a while back. He had bought it from a previous board member for very cheap. Removed the racing seat, and '94 tail lights and put it up for sale a couple months later for more money.

It might be worth noting that the V6 installed by the previous owner had very high miles and was rebuilt by the young gent.

EDIT: It was only a couple weeks before he tried re-selling this car. Here's the previous owner's thread if you'd like more info on this car. http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=436599
Agile....how do YOU know it was bougt very cheap ? and what exactly
are you trying to say ?
Wow, Agile is right about it being the same car down to the dent in the driver's door and engine bay.
His last activity on this forum was 11/13...
Wth...???!

What exactly is the insinuation here? Agile...why are you making absurd conclusions based entirely on your own speculations? I explained myself to you when you were trolling my original posting way back in 2012:

It details why I was selling shortly after I purchased: "I've only had this car a short while, but it runs fantastic and handles superbly. It is the 5th MR2 I've owned. The only reason I'm selling is that there's another '93 MR2 I've been trying to acquire which I was FINALLY able to purchase two days ago, so this one has to go (though having two 2's wouldn't be so bad)"

You indicated I'm asking "more than the previous owner" further down in the thread, and asked what I did to "improve it".

My response then: "The price is what I'm willing to sell the car for, which is very close to what I purchased it for. I've factored in my transportation costs, installation of the oem seats, full detail, new battery, among other things".

That’s when I was asking $4900, I’ve since dropped the price to $4,500 (obo), which was my cost then. However, since that original listing, I've spent $1500 more dollars on tires, tie rods, ball joints, suspension line, bushings, and new OEM rubber for the T-top seals (not installed it yet), which I have documentation for, thinking I would keep the car. Obviously now, I’m selling the car for a loss, since I rarely drive it (I own 5 cars and a Harley, not that it’s any of your business).

So, in short, if you don’t mind “Agile” (and similarly-minded people), kindly refrain from flaming my posts, since you don’t know anything at all about me or my motivations. To any truly interested persons (not morons with an agenda, and nothing better to do than speculate on somebody’s “for sale” post with made-up conspiracy innuendo), I apologize that I have not been on the board in some time or responded to PM’s…life has intervened, and I’ve been insanely busy with work and family. The car is still for sale, and sits, stored indoors this whole time. I took it out yesterday for the first time (it was actually 60 degrees in the U.P.), and it still runs and drives superbly. I will be more diligent in the coming weeks to check the board and my PM’s to try and move the car this year to somebody that has the time to truly enjoy it…thanks all. Again, sorry to any real potential buyers, and sorry too that I haven't been on here to defend myself against the wolves barking....

I am trying to track down a clean turbo one, but I am still somewhat interested in yours. We talked back in November or December... I'll watch this thread in case I continue to have bad luck finding a nice turbo car.
