Nice Enkei rims notwithstanding, the high mileage and destroyed paint underneath that battleship gray vinyl wrap will make obtaining your asking price a real challenge. The MOMO steering wheels have a great feel to them. Had one in my MK1.5 many years ago.

I love the enkei rims they are my favorite on these cars. I agree the high mileage and bad paint is not desirable, but I am posting my MR2s more to see what I could get. I am in zero rush to sell either and can stay in my collection if necessary. What price would you recommend? In Southern California this seems to be a fair price for a 93 original turbo clean title

I check the market about every day for MR2s, Integra GSR/Type R, Civic Si (89-00), and FC Rx7s in CALIFORNIA specifically since June of 2020 on Offerup/Facebook and to a lesser extend forums/CL (much fewer sales here)

Here seems to be about the going rate this year (I follow ads and when they flip to sold/dissappear I consider them sold)

91-92 Turbo below 200k miles 9-14k
93 Turbo below 200k miles 12-17k
94+ Turbo below 150k miles >23k

The fact the interior is clean sans the dash lift, motor rebuilt with receipts is great + recent t-belt/wp but need to confirm if MLS Metal HG was done, color is more on the desired side even if faded, original turbo with LSD and california only car with straight body are great selling points. Price might seem to be on the higher end but also seems well taken care of, post here when/if it sells so I can add it to my list!

I really appreciate this thorough response! I cannot confirm whether an MLS metal HG was done, but I am assuming it has not. I am more than happy to be open to offers. I realized having four 2 seater cars in my life is not the best.

I have never heard anyone described Nardo Gray as “Battleship gray” 🤣😂🤣

If there's paperwork on the rebuild and if smog/exhaust leak is taken care of, I'm sure you'd get some quick offers (mine included!).

Yes I have paperwork given from previous owner regarding rebuild. Sorry for misunderstanding about my exhaust leak statement. It is nothing that affects smog and car has never failed smog. It is a very common issue on turbo mr2 where the stud gets loose from the exhaust manifold expanding from heat and contracting from cooling down so it ends up loosening the studs and stripping them. I have one that constantly comes loose but is not noticeable after 30 seconds of driving. Correct way to fix is to remove engine and retap block for a threaded insert, but I definitely am not going to be removing engine as this is my daily currently.

Has LSD, and passed every bi-annual smog check, just like a Toyota should.

Adjusting asking price to 15000. I read through comments and talked to other forum members and I agreed due to the high mileage that I lower price. I am still open to offers as well.

Yes I agree! I am learning how to wrap with this car so it is not easy to do especially since I get off work tired. I will try to do, though the car is being sold as shown in pictures until further notice.
