1988 Toyota MR2 mk1b n/a manual, hardtop rolling shell with ‘04 matrix 2zzge & c60 6-speed transmission
Manual locks/windows, window cranks and locks, hood, gas lid, engine, trunk lid release work effortlessly no binding or sticking either.
A/C model so all parts present except for compressor, both rubber flex lines included however just not seen in pic

I think I’m second owner, first owner kept it in El Paso, TX most of its life.
When I bought it from previous owner the engine had a blown head gasket and cylinder head warped excessively out of spec so decided to pull engine n trans out and sold them few years ago.
This thing was a literal barn find, collecting dust in a barn garage but as complete stock you could find them, so PO just parked it once head gasket blew
151k miles on shell, 139k miles on the 2zz/c60
Factory orange pearl mica paint(I hear this color is rare?), will need a complete paint job as original paint is toast.
Comes with an ‘89 SC engine lid and side skirts
Swapped over a bunch of interior parts in better shape including the dash, all carpets and even seats (near mint) from the same low mileage wrecked ‘89 sc mr2 I had bought to use as a donor transplant car.
All underbody splash shields are included, frunk and radiator upper shields also included
Trunk carpet(grey) all pieces included, just not seen in pic
Interior is missing the shift boot, radio head unit, radio/climate controls surround bezel trim, center arm rest storage compartment box and the rear upper map/cab light lens
Other than that noted, everything else is present in great shape holding up well for its age now.
All four original stock steel wheels(14”) included, original spare donut also included.
Brand new Toyota oem master key and oem spare key included
I can also include a set of mk2 mr2 s54 axle shafts to fit the c60 transmission
Little things to sort out listed below -
Has a big dent on the driver left door under door handle
Couple dents dings on both fenders, couple small dings on hood and couple small dents on both rear quarter panels rearmost edges of both tail lights.
Front bumper lip has about six cracks from top to bottom so it’s best to just replace it at this point.
Windshield has developed couple huge cracks so will need replacing,
Needs new windshield wiper blades too
Will need brakes and struts/bushings addressed rebuilt
$3,500 cash for complete shell with 2zz/c60 swap as described above
