Starting off life as a lowly 2.2, it was nevertheless loved by its owner. At some point, it became the replacement for my old MR2 (left Japan). After driving from Rhode Island to TN, to MS, to CA immediately after purchase, it began a life of abuse and enthusiasm. Spirited mountain passes, autocross, and track days would follow. After barely squeaking out a win against a Miata on the local track's front stretch, it was time to upgrade. After much drama, a 1995 Camry 1MZ would find its way underhood. As the times at the track dropped, the desire for more was growing. One ambitious misstep resulted in an installed 3MZ with no spark or crank. Fast forward 3 years- no change.
