I am the second owner. The car was rotting away at a relatives home, so when I visited I would give her a bath, top off all the fluids, fill the tires, and let her run and give her a drive. I did this for years. The relatives once asked why I cared so much about that old mr2 and I told them I just didn't like seeing it rot away, even if it wasn't mine. They decided in May of 2017 to give it to me as a birthday present because they weren't ever going to do anything with it anyway.

The car is completely original with only 36000 miles on it.
