vwpmr2 Hi MRDeuce92,

The part numbers for the (triangular) brackets holding the mirrors (with rubber channel slots for the windows) for MK2 are:

67514-17020 (left side)
67513-17020 (right side)

They're about $60 each new. They have adjusting screws on them to adjust the window-to-door seal gap, so look at your existing brackets to get into the ballpark with where the new screws need to be set. You'll need to remove the interior door panels to get to the bolts that hold them onto the door.

Also, the 3 screws holding each mirror to its bracket have (factory) thread lock on them so unless you're very lucky, you will probably mess up the phillips heads getting them out. Heat from a soldering iron applied directly to the heads will help. They have a special thread pitch so don't count on getting them from the hardware store. The P/N for the screws is 90149-50051.

Good luck,

Side mirror triangular rubber piece

Does anyone know what the part # is on the triangular rubber piece that sits between the side mirror and the speaker? Would you have to buy a whole new side mirror to get that part?
