91 Turbo to JDM Cluster w/ Electronic Speed sensor write up?

Anyone have the wiring diagrams for this conversion? I saw a few threads here but most of them have broken links and missing pictures.. Anyone have a current write up or diagrams? Thanks -Scott

Here's the best I can do on this one:

USDM 91 Turbo cluster pinouts are in this URL if you click on "Combination Meter" and scroll down a little.
1991 MR2 BGB Online - Mechanical - Body Electrical System

Some 1993+ Pinouts for JDM and Euro clusters are in this Google spreadsheet link (scroll to the right).

Don't know if this includes your particular cluster. You'll have to check the PCB on the back of your cluster to see if it matches and if not you will have to figure out the pinouts. If you're not sure what a bulb is you remove it and shine a light through to view the symbol.

Thanks Frank, I used the diagram in this thread to attempt to get it working: https://www.mr2oc.com/61-3sgte-turbo/...ody-how-4.html

.. But only about half the things on my gauge work now.. The low oil pressure light is stuck on, the temp sender gauge is pinned up my fuel gauge isn't reading. I'm gonna give it another shot in the morning with that spreadsheet you posted.

Ok so the diagram in the link that you posted seems to reference 93 USDM gauge cluster not JDM.

Then I did some more digging and I found this spreadsheet that converts 91/92 USDM turbo to 93+ JDM turbo cluster.

Notice at the bottom there's a note on connecting the speedometer to the ABS speed signal wire in the footwell.

I can't recall is your JDM cluster turbo or NA probably their pinouts are different.

We did fix Scott's cluster. Here is my working diagram for the conversion. The original cluster was 91 Turbo USDM. The replacement cluster is either JDM or UK NA cluster - all I know is RHD - part number is 83010-17710.

Disregard the wire colors indicated in the diagram - the wired pigtails were sourced randomly. Go by the wire position.

Feel free to ask any questions.

PS. For clarification, for each of the three connectors, the left column is the replacement cluster pin position, the right column is the original USDM 91T pin position. Also it appears that this replacement cluster was not documented anywhere else, we traced all the circuit board lines to determine the pinout.
