Connected the battery backwards ...

I connected my battery backwards for a moment. :( There were some sparks for a moment before I removed it.

It starts and the exterior lights seem to work. However, the interior lights stopped working, ceiling/map lights and door panel lights (dashboard lights work).

Is this simply a blown fuse? What fuse is this?

Anything else I should look into?

What is supposed to happen is that the alternator diodes will short circuit the battery until the fusible link blows, and that will protect the rest of the vehicle electronics. If the fusible link has been patched out, then the surge will continue until the alternator diodes pop, and then the reverse voltage will run through the rest of the harness, blowing out fuses and modules willy-nilly. The results then are unpredictable.

Update:

Unfortunately I've discovered a new problem.

Even with the door shut, the dome lights and the circular green key light (Is this an aftermarket thing? It came with my car) remain on, but this happens sporadically.

I left my car for half a day, walked past it, the dome lights were off. Then passed it again half a day later, and the dome lights and key light were both on. Opening the door turns on the lights in the lower part of the doors, these lights were not part of the problem.

I disconnected the battery and reconnected it later, but then the problem didn't present itself.

I've checked all fuses, and I have no idea what is going on.

Is there some diode or something that perhaps got burnt? What should I look into?
