My driver's side fog light fell out while driving (worn mounting holes) and the glass shattered.
With the limited number of OEM fog lights for sale and the aftermarket (Spec-D Tuning) models being discontinued, I was wondering if anybody knows of any fog light alternatives for the turbo bumper.
Are there any fog lights that fit the unique cutout shape in the bumper AND actually look decent? Has anyone ever had their fog lights reglassed/relensed.
Not sure if this is known to you, but there's been some Chinese cheapies on eBay for a few years, they are almost exact replicas. The fog glass isn't as thick & cracks easily and you'll need to modify the Toyota Echo style wiring harness, but they do work and look like OEM.
This is most unfortunate. I've been looking for a good condition drivers' side fog light for my 93HT for over a year. When I finally decide to settle for a SpecD light, that isn't available either.
Protect your fog lights, folks. PPF that stuff. I went through a few 5-10 years ago with stone chips cracking the glass.
I know some people were looking for replacement fogs so FWIW someone posted some of these replicas on eBay for much more reasonable prices ($149 shipped). I just bought a pair of the smoke but have not received them yet.
The connectors are different, however, it looks like it may be possible to switch the connector from the OEM (if you have one). My driver's side light fell out while driving so it's smashed.
Autoextrude (https://autoextrude.com/) is working that will fit the OEM location but it is not a replica. Imagine the fog light cutout with a blanking plate and then add a projector fog (Morimoto). If you're on Instagram, you can look for autoextrude and find a post.
