Where can I find a E153 (Low Mileage)

Hey, guys have been trying to find low mileage E153 under $1500 and am now getting so desperate to call Jdm Engine ad Transmission shops in Japan. Does anyone know of any reasonable places that have E153's in stock? Thanks in advanced

I think I mentioned Facebook groups on your other thread, but have you tried any of the MR2 specific shops? Here's a couple off the top of my head:

Call these guys and ask them to split the trans or if no go buy the engine and sell it. I've purchased engines from them before.

In addition to these guys there are many many jdm importers in so cal who regularly have low mileage e153's.

Here's one with an e151F very favorable gear ratios and 3.9 final drive you just have to convert to rwd not too difficult. IMO this is the ticket for a V6 swap as opposed to the 4.3 final drive.

Here's their website for direct contact with more good stuff.

Hey sorry I replied late, but I have found out I can use the E153 internals out of the Celica all track trans and stick it into my s54 bell housing to essentially have an "E153".

You can do a search on car-part.com They usually have the mileage stated when each junkyard places an ad.

Are you sure about that? The cases are completely different, I would be amazed if the internals swapped. I have certainly never heard of this before.

Regardless, finding a Celica All Track transmission is likely to be many times harder than just finding a regular e153.

Not used and may not be priced what you consider "reasonable" but as far as I know these are still available.
