Looking for new seat, whats good?

it occurred to me that im going to need a new seat, im looking for a fixed back due the the added side support but i also want to use my stock seat belts because it will be a road use car, and lastly i really dont want to spend a HUGE amount of money. what would you guys suggest? i was thinking a sparco speed but not sure if theire bracket came with a mounting point for the seat belt....

checked bride and spearco and K?nig seats in mr2s.
After a short while they rattle - quality is a joke.I hope my german buddies excuse this. But i did not see one seat that is any good.
Cant even tell how you can drive save with a seat that feels like rodeo.

iam on the hunt for the reacaro CS special edition - maybe they offer more quality.

I have had a lot of luck with the OMP seats fitting in the MK1, you can see the seats here http://safedrives.com/products.asp?cat=142. OMP also has a "Low" version of the Side Mount Brackets (required on most seats) that gets the seat lower http://safedrives.com/proddetail.asp?prod=HC%2F733E.

In my MK1 rally race car I went crazy and cut the stock floor mounts out of the shell and bolted the Side Mount Brackets strait the floor with some large backing plates on the underside of the car. I don't think I would recommend this type of install in a car that did not also have a full roll cage system. I also bolted 1/4" thick high density plastic on the underbody of the rally race car. *shrugs* I thought this post might help.

Best regards,

Charles
