CRW SOS low rise headlight kits *PICS*

a good friend has developed a really nice low rise kit for the MR2s which requires only modifying a couple of the OEM headlight components + installing the new "headlight" assembly. these were made to be as inexpensive as possible yet provide excellent lighting and excellent asthetics.

the lighting is so good (HID) that we haven't installed high beams which would be included in the kit of course

price will be $375 shipped w/halogen H1 bulbs
price will be $575 shipped for kit with HID H1 bulbs

will also try to get pics here soon of what the light pattern looks like with just the HID low beams on.

any questions or concerns can be posted here or can email me directly j[email protected]

i would recommend painting the metal brackets. but bring on the lights on pics!

these should sell like hot cakes in New Orleans!

right now the car isn't running and in the rain it's harder to get decent pics of the light dispersion.

the kit pictured is the prototype and the actual production units will have powdercoated bezels.

Looks great! What all has to be modified to the stock headlights? When do you think they will go on sell?
I see myself snatching up a set! lol

we have to make a few sets here in the next few weeks but after New Years it'll be definitly ready to go.

will also have a install "how to" as well but other than replacing some parts which have been modified there is no other "modification" required

as for the powdercoated color it will be black but can order a specific color as well if you would like for no additional charge

Nice to see a cheaper alternative in this market, although I have to say, I really don't like the look of those light housings. Maybe its the blue tint, but they just look really cheap to me. Any way of doing something similar, but with the hella 90mm housings, or something similar?

They look good. what's included? do you have PICS of everything included on the kit? as other mentioned they would be nice W/O the blue tint.

Are these DOT approved lights? Can they be individually aimed? (The price has come down on 90mm Hella's with H-9's. ~$250 for four.) +1 on the uninstalled kit pics.
