Smile New member from SD

Hello all. About a week ago I picked up my 93 MR2 and finally decided to create a profile after roaming the forum for years. This is my third Toyota 2 seater. I previously owned a 93 Supra NA hard top, and as recent as a year ago owned a 03 MR2 Spyder. My 93 is naturally aspirated and comes with power windows, power steering, and sunroof. I would have preferred a hard top without a sunroof but I haven't seen any on sale in the configuration I want other than the right hand drive models which I don't want to deal with. I'm still on the lookout for one with (hard top, power steering) though. This car is mainly a weekend toy that I plan on taking to track days. Future plans are to retrofit MR2 Spdyer EPS and abs, and a 2GR swap.

New MR2

A lot has happened since my first post. A week after buying my SW21 it was up for sale because I just happened to be bored and browsing Auto Trader and saw a very nice 91 hardtop for sale. Features were, automatic, power everything, no ABS, only 66K miles, and only 2 previous owner. The dealer said an elderly woman traded it in for a new convertible mustang. Oh well, I'm just glad she took such great care of the car because it is in very good condition. I thought I wouldn't like an automatic by so far I'm loving it. It's just such a comfortable cruiser, so it might be a while before I do a manual conversion. Anyway too much chatting here are the pics.

Curb Weight

So I got my car weighted today on a local weigh station. Don't know how accurate the scale is but it should be decent since it is also used for military dity shipping and DMV weight certifications. Curb weight came out to be 2740 lbs. I just got the car back from the dealership after a multi point inspection and servicing and they topped up all fluids. I also stopped at a nearby gas station and filled it up so this is with all fluids maxed out (a real curb weight). Getting the car weighed only costed $10 and took about 30 seconds. I don't understand why more people don't do this instead of guessing weights. Anyway, the car's specs is:

1991 Hard top 2.2l Naturally Aspirated
Automatic transmission
Power Radio Antenna
Factory subwoofer
Power Windows
Power steering
Power Mirrors
Non ABS

I don't know if any other parts were optional. If AC was optional the car has it. If cruise control was an option it has that too. If power brakes was an option it has that too. If I missed something please let me know.
