New member just got my MR2 Friday

Hello everyone here is a pic of my new car affectionately named Mr. Two! I started with a full spa day for him cleaned him up degreased and vacuumed the whole interior. took off the gross seat covers to find super nice seats. I again covered them to keep them nice.

after all this work I ended up having my first issue, parked the car after getting lunch and it dumped oil everywhere. almost a quart I would say. I was too worried to drive it for the last couple of days and last night I got the jack out and found where the leak is. Passenger side half shaft is not seated all the way and leaking gear oil out at a very steady pace. I tried to pop it back in with a pry bar but it goes flush but still wont seat. I found from some googling that some other people with this issue needed to swap engine mounts. I think I could see the rear engine mount tweaked out so I need to try to move that back to center and hopefully it will seal enough i can put oil back in the trans. then I can get it to a friends house with proper jack stands to work on it.

Loved driving this car for the few miles I got to so far hope i can get this rolling and make it my daily driver.

Still leaking like a stuck pig. I haven't gotten the axle out yet. Should have new half shaft seal thursday. I don't think the engine mounts are that bad after all it has to be this seal or something really bad inside the diff.

Since its out of commission I spent some time polishing the paint. its come back so nice and it shiny and almost like new!

Ordered a bushing kit for the suspension hope that helps all the looseness and rattling in the back end.

Got Mr. up and rolling again and did another pass with the cutting compound. The paint looks great now then I added a ceramic coating dulled it a little but should provide much needed water resistance.

I'm wondering what the best use of my money on this car is. I think it needs new struts in the rear it has a bounce when hitting bumps in the rear. eventually I want coilovers but it's hard to spend half the cost of the vehicle to order them. Wheels and tires would make the most difference in appearance as the steelies on it are not pretty at all.

Stereo needs updated too, been looking at double-din android type but cant decide between spending $100 or $200 on it. I want to add a pair of 6x9 behind the seat and find why the drivers door speaker is not working.

Finally need to see about getting A/C fixed, but I feel like getting suspension fixed first stereo second then ac third as the summer is coming to a close.
