authentic/metal side skirts?

I am currently restoring a 91 turbo model and the left side skirt is rusted straight through. Is there anyway I could possibly save it or a site that sells the replica replacement? preferably metal or authentic as possible to the original materials as I've heard fiberglass ones sometimes have fitment issues and shatter easily.

The prospects depend on how deep the rust actually goes. I would take it to a body shop and ask for an estimate. The cost will depend more on how much refinishing is required than on how much sheet metal gets welded in.

You can buy from these guys or buy what you need from the dealer.

I don't think you could get fiberglass sills to replace the metal parts. I think what you are reading is the add-on fiberglass body kits as a visual addition rather than the structural metal sill itself.
It seems that JDMFTW has you covered though.

Yea the ones i linked are reproduction but they are the FULL sill panel. if you order from the dealer it will be 3 sections. The one i linked will be easier to work with for your body guy or even yourself.

but if you want oem the dealers can still get the parts. Lithia toyota parts finder you can search under exterior and sill panel/ rocker to find them.
