FSAE is worth it, if you don't get addicted to it. With anything in life, do it in moderation.

I loved my time in it, but my life really sucked as I became completely obsessed and consumed; living out of the shop, donating thousands of my own money, and not going home for holidays to design/fabricate crap for the car. Although, I am making quite a bit more than the average B.S engineering salary due to FSAE and had zero issues in the job market.

In the end, you just need to evaluate what you plan to gain out of the experience.

Nice snow tires =P.

We aren't close to a test run yet, tons of work and only maybe 3 people willing to put in the time. I won't be so involved next year, that is for sure. 1000+ man hours is a lot to ask of a college student.
