Whats this RATTLE???

Just had my 94 turbo in the shop for an install, Tokico struts and Eiback pro kit. I left the shop and drove home on a bad road in old Orange. There was a rattle in the left front. Once I got home I investigated and found that when you hit the driver side wheel with a fist you could create the same sound. I did it again while grabbing the spring and low and behold the sound stopped, just a note, the front does not seem any lower as I was expecting about 1 inch drop. Please any input???

So took the car back to the install shop and we discovered the top of the spring where the coil get close together was banging against itself, crazy! We placed a small piece of rubber between the coils and it stopped. Now i called eiback and they are sending me some type plastic piece designed to correct this, MY question is has anyone had this challenge before???
