Exclamation MK2: Custom Koni Yellow/ Ground Control Coilover Setup

Has anyone managed to make a custom Koni Yellow / Ground Control Coilover setup for the MK2?

I've heard of people doing custom coilover setups for the Mk2 but none with the Ground Control coilover & Koni Yellow Strut towers.

I have Koni Yellow + Eibach Pro springs on the car now but want to get rid of the Pros and go with a coilover setup like the Koni/Ground Control route. Can someone help point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance

There is nothing particularly special about the ground control setup. All you need are threaded sleeves and perches of the right diameter, springs, top hats, and if you want some sort of camber plate / top mount. Lots of us have gone that route using Koni struts.

This thread has a lot of info, as do some of the "Street Modified Support Group" threads in the Autocross section.

I've made probably 10 sets

I always section the front struts for more shock travel as well, rears are okay.

By far the best sub $1k coilover setup for a mr2 i've ever dealt with.
