I am sure you can get an "OEM quality" one but it will be made by an aftermarket company. It will look just like OEM though.

Yes, they are available from Toyota, but why is the OEM stamp so important to you?
From your dealer, expect to pay between $350 to $400.
Also purchase the trim strip that runs along the top of the windsheild(reveal molding) The old one won't fit the new windshield very well.

I had the windshields replaced in my 86 and 88. Both done by Safelite, both cost me $170.00 installed at my house( it pays to haggle prices)

A MKI windshield from a Toyota dealer is less than $330 to $400:

Wow! $170

The cheapest price I have found around here (NC) is $240 for the 89 I recently bought.

Thanks for the heads up....I need to keep looking (or get you to negotiate for me ;-)

Coty, Call the 1-800 # for SafeLite. Haggle with them for the best price. Then have them schedule the install.

Ron. Whats the part# for the OEM glass?
