It is a cheapie ebay camera, about $20... I wanted to see how it looked, but because it is a location that could get road debris easily, I didn't want to use something expensive. Servo for panning is also a cheapie, freebie actually, a hobbie shop was getting rid of some old standard size ones.

A digital servo would probably give me much smoother increments, you can clearly see the increments on the slow pan.

The roads are amazing, camera is very steady with tripod bolted to frame, so the wheel movement on the 5k/8k suspension is surprisingly little. I'm really glad I didn't go softer, there's just no need here.
