After looking at the tips again, they do look right, but might be too small for the back end.

I know what you mean about aesthetics, i have a hatred of huge tailpipes though, understated is the way to go..... says he with a V8 stuffed into a Mk1

I don't like huge tips either, but I think with the width of your back end, you could go slightly bigger or at least wider and still look proportionately correct.

Finally got the R8 exhaust system fully welded up and fitted today, she sounds much much better than the old TVR silencer, nice and quiet at idle but still with a nice bellow when revved, looking forward to hearing it under load now.

After proving it could be built i sold it on to someone who wanted to paint it and finish it off, here is the video of it being driven about 4 or 5 years ago i think.
