Interesting sight

the other week I saw a Ford 351w powered mk1 MR2 at the drag strip. It was a complete backwoods job, but they did have the 351w/ with C4 trans. The car was frialy ugly.. wasn't painted.. and had to use a massive cowl hood to cover the engine. but it did move. I think in the 12's.

The job looked mroe liek.. I have a blown MR2,, and I got this good motor from scooter. Let me put them together. I wish I had a camera phone.. Just another option I guess. Maybe it could be done right and look clean?

If it was a front engine mark1, rear drive, then its a car we know about.

but we did not know it ran well enough to actually take a pass down the strip at a respectable time ( for what it was !)
dang this is an old thread... back to searching for the one I want....
