GUIDELINES FOR POSTING IN PAINT & BODY

Please provide the answers to the following questions when requesting help in this forum. It will greatly help the auto body knowledgeable members to answer your questions:

1. Color of your vehicle. This will affect answers to paint questions.

2. Your state. This tells us what type of weather conditions the car has been exposed to. Affects answers to paint and corrosion questions. You can also provide this info by entering it into your user profile.

3. Year of the vehicle. Seems obvious, but it is very often left out of the query. Affects answers to ALL types of autobody questions.

4. What, if anything you have already done to resolve your problem. This will help us to guide you from there rather than starting from square one.

Thank you

1)RED
2)severely beaten by the weather..clear coat is coming off...I live in FLA.
3)it is a 1991 model
4)I have done nothing to solve the problem, I plan on sanding the car down, fixing the dents, then primering it. Then taking it to a shop to get it painted.
