so recently i tried this, and the results are nothing like yours.

my paint isnt gloss enough, there is no reflection.

i wetsanded it with 2000 grit
then turtle wax rubbign compund
then turtle wax polishing compund
and lastly meguair's mirror glaze

any ideas to get that glossy reflection? or did i paint it wrong?

rustoleum, high performance enamel gloss black
let it sit for 2 days before wetsanding
wetsanding i used 2000 grit, a bucket of water with dishwashing soap

then rubbing compund, polish compound, and mirror glazed

do i need to sand it down harder? what if i start from 1000 this time then go up to 2000, will that help?

sorry i don't visit the boards very often

rustoleum is awful paint, I've never had good experience with it. stick with krylon

Letting the paint cure for 2 days would make it a lot harder to wetsand.. i would only wait about 24 hours

2000 was probably too weak to level the paint . i think 1500 is a better option
