Keyless entry

I have a '92 Turbo with factory power door locks. I'd like to add a simple push-button entry to my car (I don't necessarily need/want an alarm system with it - have heard some of them can get kinda squirrel-ly). Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Viper or clifford. Some can be had on the cheap. There is a DIY wiring install somewhere on here. I made my install overly difficult and had problems with it working due to one relay with bad wiring. If you're just doing keyless entry it's a pretty straight forward affair.

I have a early 91 USDM SW20 turbo with Premium sound No security . I'm going to tackle this as well. I got a cheap $17 unit off Amazon and am pretty well versed on electrical installs but would like to study up before I get started. I'll also probably do a video with wire color references to make it easy for the next person. (For 17$ this is a must have mod :)

I installed the system in under 10 min. All of the wiring for mine took place in the drivers kick panel on the bottom plug.

Can you tell me what type of central locking system our 91 USDMs have from the pics on post 3. Thanks

Ok so I think I'm down to 4 wires but it doesn't make any sense to me as I have three on the car and no active trigger. Should I ground out the yellows? Do the Wights need to go to the same lock input. It looks like these Amazon units all use the same harness why cant we just say white strip to black yellow black to Yellow??!!
