I've done some searching and seen a few pics here and there, but I think it's be be better to have a thread devoted to Gen 3 engine setups. Looking for clean, unique, stock anything.. Setup/details are good but pics are king. So let's see em. Hopefully this will inspire others to do something to their setup, I know it probably will me. Mine could use some sprucing up.
I'll start...this is my newly swapped Gen 3. Swap was done at Prime. Stock gen 3 with the obvious bolt ons.
Definetly, plus it allows more air into engine bay and nice workbench to hold tools. Good cheap system if you don't want to push more than 20psi and happy using all the stock ST205 parts including IC, pump and HE. I even used the stock hoses & clamps!
I feel a little better now lol.
The hell you doing?! Colin McRae in an SW20? haha.

Plenty of threads devoted to A2W vs A2A IC's with data to match. As these are generally aftermarket upgrades it comes down to specific design and goals for the project. Its not a one shoe fit all approach so in some instances A2A out preforms and in others A2W does better. Best to do your own homework and work out which is best for you.
I have converted my Gen2 long block with Gen3 electronics (along with Gen3 cams, JDM ECU & injectors); does it count?
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
