3.5 twin turbo Lexus engine

The following is from a Car and Driver story on the all new Lexus LS500.
For now, Lexus is showing only the LS500 model, which uses an all-new, twin-turbocharged, direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6. Output is 415 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque

What are the odds THIS will be the engine for the new Supra instead of a twin turbo 3.0 V6 like in all the rumors?

It makes sense. Toyota's brilliance is in its development and using a proven engine across multiple platforms. I wonder if GM has caught on.

I'd say that would be a great engine setup for the Supra. Now if only it didn't look like a BMW.

From the photos I've seen, the Supra will look different from the Z5 and a good thing is that the Supra doesn't look as big as a land yacht. I do agree that this would be a better choice for the Supra that the twin turbo 3.0 V6 that was recently rumored.
