Nope, never did a version on DVD due to production cost (Min order was 2000 Disc's at the time). The video has sold well over the past 3 years but I didn't think people who had it would rebuy it just because it was on DVD and I don't really know if the market could support this all MR2 DVD enough to make the cost worth while.

Apotheosis has a ton of MR2's in it and it's on DVD. MR2's of Apotheosis <--- right click and "save taget as" this to start quicktime download 650K

Just an update, as of February 27th Apotheosis (DVD's) sold out completely on the Savage Land Pictures web page. So the only remaining stock is at www.clubmr2.com / Two's R Us located at http://twosrus.com/index.htm <---under DVD and video. Once they sell out on that page they are gone forever, the DVD's are too pricy to reprint.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the members here who supported and participated in this film. There were many import fans from the NSX and DSM clubs that sent lot's of great emails and support as well. Apotheosis was a very long and complex project but it looks as if the hard work paid off.

Sincerely,

-The Archangel / The guy who made MR2DIE4, a long, long time ago.. in an MR2 far, far away.

I just wanted to offer my thanks to Jesse and everyone involved in this DVD, i have it sitting right here next to me. It really is a true classic, very well done and with alot of class. i love how it shows the more enthusiast side of our culture rather than those homemade videos just to be stupid and show off. definatly a . enjoy your time off from filming jesse, but ill anxiously be waiting for when you decide to pick up the camera again for some more MR2 footage

It's not sold out yet Club MR2 still has both videos it here:

http://www.twosrus.com/new/Lower_Fra...apotheosis.htm

If you buy a copy of the films, the money now goes directly to Club MR2.

Both videos are still under copyright so if it goes on the internet were going to have some serious issues with whoever puts it there. These projects took a long time to film and put together at great personal expense, I wish to support Club MR2 and the growth of the MR2 within the import tuning culture so keep that in mind.

Once we have payment, you're set to order with the discount. If you use the link at the bottom right of the main page on our site, you put the membership in your shopping cart and can buy at will at the member price.

We verify all membership when we get a sale at the member price. You don't need to enter an ID or password for that.

We have plenty of the Videos and DVDs.

MR2DIE4 Reawakend

I have been batting around the idea of re-cutting the footage of MR2DIE4 (what I still have), MR2DIE4 EM and The MR2 content of Apotheosis into a new project but remove all dialogue from the film (no interviews at all). I have about 100 hours of footage of MR2?s from the various shoots I went on. If I did remake the film the hardest part would be the soundtrack: You can?t just put any music in there especially if it?s sold or distributed because of copyright. The sound track would have to be something much more modern and would be a massive undertaking to score alone. It would just be music and engine sounds.

These days I could easily get it on DVD but it?s not really feasible to mass produce because I don?t think the market is there like it was six years ago. I?m not sure if I?ll ever do this or not, I have already invested a substantial amount of time into the previous films. I can still visualize a very cool project but I know it would probably take six month to a year to create. It would be a limited release if so or possibly something online.

On the flip side it?s also sometimes a bad idea to mess with what has already been done to some extent. I certainly can?t afford the time or money to shoot another one at the scale of the last three.

Thoughts?

I would buy one right now if you do a limited run.

Why not record it on to your computer and make it a digital download sell?
