Yea, i saw you were going to a different drag strip but assumed the Dyno day location was going to be the same as last year. As well as the Sunday Cruise.

If its all going to be in Louisville then yea, i probably wouldnt waste my time with the drive going to Somerset. I've only every been to Louisville a couple times.

The Knobs was what was suggested, I honestly don't know the roads personally living in Lexington my whole life but will have time to go practice some of the route

More details on location will be released in the upcoming weeks

This is a pretty good route with some decent scenery. Only downside is it's a bit short. I can add to the route, this is just the section I know best.

This bit is particularly fun. If we take this route, probably best if I lead this section at least. That switchback is going up (or down) hill, on-camber but can still get dicey if you don't know it well. I've driven these roads literally hundreds of times in the WRX that my MR2 replaced, though, and it's the first place I took my STi to put it through the paces. It's fun, just have to be a little careful with it.

Works out better for me being in Louisville, not much question that I'll come even if I don't have the MR2 functioning. Good stuff.

I'll mark this down on my calendar. I would like to make it no matter what condition my MR2 is in, but I expect by then for it to be fully functional. Might not have the 93T brakes on at that point, but I can at least aim to have the KW's on by this time. I'll also try to be fully tuned before this, so we can see what my peashooter can make on the dyno, lol.

by the way, how does everyone feel about doing some indoor karting? there's a pretty good place in Louisville that we could go to one of the evenings. nothing like some wheel to wheel racing!

also, i may invite some guys from work who are also enthusiasts even though they don't have MR2s. so if they come with, let's be nice and not give them too much of a hard time.

It would be like a little weekend fun time.

Just FYI guys, I've invited my old 24 Hours of LeMons team, Dai Mondai II, down from Erlanger to the event. They are the first and only team to win a LeMons event with an MR2 so far (to my knowledge the only mid-engine win at all). Crossing my fingers the company will let the car off the chain to come out for the meet, as this is a Toyota "factory team", fielded by Toyota Norta America's corporate headquarters. Could be a nice celebrity appearance if they can come and dyno the car

Sounds like it could be a good time but I doubt I'll even have one of the MR2s done by April =/. Leaves me off the list.

Please everyone double check the dates, we had to move the meet up 2 weeks in order to make it to the Ohio Mile on the 28th of April. It is still far enough out that hopefully if any of you requested off work, that you will be able to change that date.

Please re read the first post for official information.

We are pleased to announce that we are going to be hosting this meet and future meets out of our 8000 sqft facility located at:

13100 Middletown Industrial Blvd
Lousiville, KY 40223
