Rebuilding an Origional

Greetings all. My name is Josh. This weekend I am purchasing a 1987 MR2 AW11, and it's in "ok" shape, but I am excited to make it just original, and enjoy the car. It has no power anything, and a sunroof, with the 1.6 liter engine. BUT it has been modified in no way, and there is minimal rust on the body (but the exhaust is almost gone).

But I am looking forward to just enjoying the car itself, and piece by piece replacing the interior. and then the exterior. I live in Northern Michigan, and am one of the few willing to drive a MR2 in the snow.

In My garage

Well, I picked it up and have the new litle MR2 at home, and am MORE than excited. There is a lot of work ahead of me now. First things I need are Exhaust, Tune up (plugs, wires, seals, etc), and some minor cosmetics. Then I can start on the bigger items. She is already a blast to drive, even at 30 years old and 100,000 miles on it.

So is there any other Michiganders in here?
