88 MR2 S/C project

Hello all who read this. I have an 88 S/C I was going to do the GRM challenge with but it didnt work out for me. Now I am offering it as a package deal for anybody who is interested. I have the car, engine and automatic transmission. Not assembled at this time. Engine and trans were pulled due to my origional trans broke. I have purchased a used trans but have not put it all back together. I was going to reseal the engine due to oil leaks but I have too many projects and absolutely no time to get them done. I also have spare N/A engines and parts for the first gens. I would like to get rid of all my MR2 parts and car as one big pakage deal. I believe this could help to get this car into the challenge with spare parts to sell. I am located in Sebastian Florida. If you are interested please email me at conechaser@comcast.net
or you can call my cell at 239 293 0472

Thank you
Chris Bourlotos

Hi Chris
I thought you sold that car awhile back...I don't need the extra parts but I am still very interested in the car - I came and looked at it about eight months ago or so. I want to restore it rather than race it. pm me if sr1-ion passes on it.

I would prefer to sell it all as a pakage deal, but I am open to any reasonable offers. The best deal anyone will get is to buy it all at once and make back the money themselves.

Maybe the two of you can get together on this pakage deal and split the cost and the parts between the two of you. Tom is in kissimmee and josh (sr-1ion) is in orlando so I think you guys live fairly close to each other. What do you guys think? Lets get this done.

Hi Chris,
Good suggestion.....but......
I am only intreested in the car and the original parts that came with it and any needed to make it a whole and functional car again in stock form (sc engine, sc auto trans, axles, torque converter, brackets, mounts, exhaust downpipe, ect). I want to restore it to its original glory days. I have too much extra stuff already and no where to put it. Just finding space for the car will be a stretch. I am not a racer but I really do enjoy these cars in stock form. I am in Orlando also so if Josh needs the extra parts such as the spare engines and stuff we could have a winning combination. I already have n/a's and want to move on to an sc. We were very close to a deal 8 months ago for just the car...just needed to work out the price details and transportation of the car and engine.
