it would be great to see some ideas that drivers have done to some mr2's, and to be able to give respect where it is deserved. not saying that the mr2 of the month isnt bad but some dont get there chance to show there cars, right.

**edit**wow that took a while to watch the whole thing. i myself have a R/C car, but it is electric and i havent used the thing in maybe a year. so yeah do you think they would still have a mr2 body?

I had no idea there was that much stuff out there. Thanks for putting this together. If there was an academy award for best film about car collectables, you would be winning it.

I'd like to see a forum dedicated to MR2 toys, publications, ads, etc. Your collection would be the centerpiece of it for sure

you'ld be surprised at how much more is out there. for the longest time my focus was the MKII, then that branched into MKI and now if I see anything cool for any generation, I pick it up. but chances are, if its out there, I've at least seen it through the years.

..so if your looking for info on any particular generation, scale or kit, feel free to ask.

we keep getting more and more subforums taking up space and when you get subforums then you get less traffic we are having this problem with say the mk1 cooling and charging forum people go to search but not to answer or view. i just dont see the point and vote no there is OT and show and shine

Should consider if for sale/trade/buy would be part of the memorabilia forum or in the main for sale section. As soon as someone starts showing stuff someone will want to make an offer. I'd probably be guilty of it myself. I think any threads should be about the item's uniqueness or whatever and not loaded with offers to buy and "dibs" being called. I vote yes.

Here is a picture of my collection:

I also have a ton of video (about 100 hours) and a box of photos from my little MR2 movie making escapades across the US 1998-2003.

wow, that's a lot of stuff. I'm more into collecting mr2 magazines. I can really use a set of vol 1,2,3 MR2 and MRS Toyota tunning mags.

here's a link to all my mr2 mags. If anyone has some doubles that i don't have let me know. I have some doubles of mk1 and mk2 mags for trade.

MYTOY2,

Trip notes is a publication of Club MR2 http://www.clubmr2.com . If you are a member you get these a few times a year. It's essentially a little magazine all about MR2's. It's a very helpful publication. I learned a lot about engine swaps through it before I decided to drop the JDM turbo engine in my car.

I have written a few articles for Trip notes as well. I did a few on my MR2 movie making experiences and one not too long ago about my MR2 running with a pack of exotic cars on a road tour through central Florida.

Nice collection Martin! I found a couple more MR2 magazines worth buying after looking at what you had. I could still use a couple 84/85/86 sales brochures... back to ebay.
